BHEL Board to consider Bonus issue, stock split

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on July 28, 2006, inter alia, to consider and take on record the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1).

Further the Company has informed that Board will also consider the following:

1. Sub-division (Split) of the Equity Shares of the Company.

2. Issue of Bonus Shares.
