TNPL Q1 profit after tax at Rs.18.81 Crores

Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd (TNPL) has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 188.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 131.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 1775.90 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 1837.00 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
