Godrej Consumer to close factory at Silvassa after Results of Postal Ballot

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd has announced that at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of the Company held on October 19, 2006, the results of Postal ballot were declared. The members have passed the resolution to close the company's factory at Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, with effect from such date and in such manner as may be decided by the Board of Director, by way of Postal Ballot, with requisite majority.
