Godavari Fertilizers Ltd to expand Kakinada Plant capacity

Godavari Fertilizers Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company have, at their meeting held on July 17, 2006, given an "in-principle" approval for expanding the capacity of the Company´s Plant at Kakinada by 4.25 lakhs tones per year. This is for the purpose of getting approval from statutory authorities for the proposed expansion. The Board is expected to take up the matter for final approval at a later date.
