The Company has announced unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. The total sales of the company for the quarter were Rs. 131.19 Crores as against Rs. 90.51 Crores during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a growth of 45.0%.
The Net Profit after tax for the quarter ended September 30,2006 was Rs. 40.03 Crores against a Net Profit of Rs. 31.68 Crores during the same quarter of the previous year, representing a growth of 26.4%. The Diluted Earning Per Share and Cash Earnings Per Share for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 were Rs. 5.0 and Rs. 7.70 after considering the dilution of GDR issue, as against Rs. 5.0 and Rs 7.4 in the previous year.
The Consolidated Revenue for the quarter ended 30th September 2006 was Rs.154.62 Crores as against Rs.117.30 Crores in corresponding quarter of the previous year reflecting a growth of 31.8%.
The Consolidated Net Profit after tax for the quarter ended 30th September 2006 was Rs.37.32 Crores as against Consolidated Net profit of Rs.27.59 Crores during the same quarter of the previous year representing a growth of 35.3%. The Consolidated Basic and Diluted Earning Per Share for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 was Rs.4.7 as against Rs.4.3 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
