Avaya Global to lend Rs.6.5 Crores to Australian subsidiary

Avaya Global Connect Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 30, 2006, inter alia, has taken note of / approved the following:

1. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 11, 2006, Appointed Mr Freddy Dijkman as an all Alternate Director to Mr Amarnath K Pai (Original Director). Now, in view of the fact that the Original Director attended the Board Meeting of the Company held on October 30, 2006, the Office of the Alternate Director i.e. Mr Freddy Dijkman, stands vacated.

2. The Board of Directors of the Company decided to make a loan of Rs 6.50 crores to the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in Australia viz. GlobalConnect Australia Pty Ltd (GCA).
