Gail India announces Q2 profits drop 42.1% to Rs.448.4 Crores

Gail India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 4484.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 7741.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income* has increased from Rs 42430.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 45256.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

* Total Income is including Internal Consumption.
