Action Construction commences commercial production in Uttaranchal plant

Action Construction Equipment Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 28, 2006, inter alia, has transacted the following:

- Commercial Production at Uttranchal

Commercial production of Cranes at the new Plant in Bazpur, Uttranchal has started in the month of October 06 and the target for the next month i.e. November 06 is 75 machines.

- Commissioning of Dudhola Plant, Faridabad

The commissioning plan of Dudhola Plant, which will be dedicated for the production of Back-Hoe Loaders, is as per the schedule and is expected to be commissioned by January 07.

- Recognition

ACE has been awarded with the Building Industry Leadership Award, 2006 (Category - Construction Machinery) on October 16, 2006.

- New Products

a) Fork Lift

ACE has added Fork Lifts to its’ present Product Portfolio. The product launch and delivery shall commence in the month of November 06.

b) 20T Mobile Crane

20T Mobile Crane, which was under trial, would also be launched in the month of November 06.

New Product Development

ACE is developing a 22T Truck Mounted Mobile Crane, which is expected to be offered to the customers, by February 07.
