In a major stride toward sustainable mobility and advanced energy solutions, Endurance Technologies Limited has officially commenced commercial production at its brand-new greenfield manufacturing facility in Mindewadi, Taluka Maval, District Pune, Maharashtra.
Turning Vision into Reality: From Capex to Commercialization
The journey began on 29th April, 2025, when Endurance Technologies informed the stock exchanges (BSE and NSE) of a capital expenditure outlay of approximately Rs. 473 million funded entirely through internal accruals. The vision was clear: establish a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to manufacturing Lithium-Ion Battery packs across various configurations.
Fast forward to today, the company has successfully transitioned from project development to active commercial production. The new product line is specifically engineered to cater to domestic markets, serving both mobility applications and battery energy storage systems.
Production Capacity and Strategic Scalability
The Mindewadi plant kicks off operations with a robust initial installed capacity:
Initial Output: Manufacturing ~26,000 Lithium-Ion Battery packs per month.
Peak Capacity: Scalable up to ~35,000 packs per month.
Endurance has strategically designed the facility to allow seamless future capacity expansions. By pre-arranging the infrastructure to accommodate balance equipment, the company is fully prepared to scale up operations the moment additional orders are secured from its Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers.
Driving Sustainability and Product Expansion
This project represents a crucial milestone for Endurance Technologies as it actively expands its green portfolio. While the company's subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., already possesses strong expertise in designing, developing, and supplying advanced battery management systems, this new plant allows Endurance to directly manufacture the physical battery packs.
By integrating battery pack manufacturing with existing battery management systems, Endurance Technologies is firmly positioning itself to meet the rapidly rising domestic demand for sustainable energy sectors.
With production now officially underway, Endurance Technologies is well-equipped to drive the future of clean mobility and energy storage across India.
