SoftTech Engineers Limited has successfully collaborated with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in developing and launching CivitTWIN - India's first AI-powered Digital Approval Twin for building permits. The platform was officially launched by the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis ji, in the presence of the Mayor of Mumbai, Smt. The existing approval process required applicants to complete 450+ manual form inputs, coordinate across 25+ independent NOC departments, and validate over 60 distinct documents - a process that was time-intensive and prone to errors.

CivitTWIN transforms this process by providing a digital rehearsal of the entire regulatory journey. Architects and applicants can Upload, Simulate, Find Gaps, and Rectify their building plans in real time - before formally submitting them on AutoDCR SWC. The platform is powered by 12 specialized AI Agents across Creation, Review, and Submission workflows, which read and process unstructured data from documents, drawings, GISbased city maps, and historical data patterns.
