V.S.T. Tillers Tractors Posts 28% Jump in May 2026 Sales, Driven by Power Tiller Demand

Agricultural machinery manufacturer V.S.T. Tillers Tractors Limited has announced its monthly and cumulative sales figures for May 2026. The company registered a strong 28% year-on-year growth in total volumes, selling a combined 4,472 units of power tillers and tractors during the month, up from 3,486 units in May 2025.
The growth momentum was overwhelmingly led by the power tillers segment, which saw a significant expansion in volumes, reflecting resilient demand across key farming belts.
Segment-Wise Performance for May 2026
Power Tillers: The company recorded a sharp 31.9% spike in power tiller sales, with volumes rising to 4,019 units in May 2026 compared to 3,047 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
Tractors: The tractor segment maintained steady but moderate growth, expanding by 3.1% year-on-year. V.S.T. sold 453 tractors during the month under review, up slightly from 439 units in May 2025.
Year-to-Date (YTD) Cumulative Progress
Mirroring the strong performance of the individual month, the cumulative sales for the April-May 2026 period showed accelerated growth. Total sales for the first two months of the fiscal year 2026-27 jumped 37% to 7,955 units, compared to 5,806 units handled during the same period in the previous fiscal.
Power Tillers: On a year-to-date basis, cumulative power tiller dispatches advanced by 41.1%, reaching 7,130 units against 5,050 units in the corresponding prior period.
Tractors: Year-to-date tractor volumes stood at 825 units, marking a 9.1% growth over the 756 units clocked during April-May 2025.
Shares of V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 4590.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 4650.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 273 in over 105 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 4701.95 and intraday low of 4550.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1258627.00.
