Thangamayil Jewellery Limited has achieved revenue of Rs.279.27 Crores as Akshaya Tritiya sales for the current year as compared to Rs.158.80 Crores in the corresponding previous year resulting in incremental growth of 75.87% on YOY basis.
Inspite of 59% increase in the gold price on YOY basis in this year Akshaya Tritiya in Volume Company sold 183.20 kg as compared 159.11 kg sold in the last year resulting in volume growth of 15.14% YOY basis.
Non gold revenue as also increased by 61% on this Akshaya Tritiya at Rs.17.99 Crores as compared to Rs.11.17 Crores in the last year.
This shift toward non-gold items reflects a changing consumer preference for lifestyle-oriented jewellery and a growing interest in diamond and silver gifting during auspicious occasions.
Thangamayil continues to benefit from its deep-rooted presence in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of Tamil Nadu. The company's ability to drive double-digit volume growth despite a 59% jump in gold prices underscores its high customer loyalty and the effectiveness of its festival marketing campaigns.
