Orient Green Power Subsidiary Signs ₹8.61 Crore Wind Turbine Supply Contract

Orient Green Power Company Limited (NSE: GREENPOWER, BSE: 533263) has announced that its material step-down subsidiary, Clarion Wind Farm Private Limited, has entered into a significant contract with M/s. Pioneer Wincon Energy Systems Pvt Limited (Pioneer).

The contract, executed on April 17, 2026, focuses on the technology upgrade and performance enhancement of the company's renewable energy assets in Southern India.

The agreement involves the supply of critical wind energy infrastructure for the re-powering of an existing site.

Infrastructure: Supply of 2 units of P57-750 KW Wind Turbine Generators (WTG).

Capacity: Totaling 1.5 MW.

Location: Devarkulam site, Tamil Nadu.

Total Consideration: ₹8.61 Crores (Inclusive of GST).

Execution Timeline: The contract is slated for completion within 10 weeks.

The move to "re-power" the Devarkulam site is a strategic effort to replace older wind energy technology with modern, more efficient turbines. By installing the Pioneer P57-750 KW units, Clarion Wind Farm aims to optimize land use and increase the energy yield from its existing wind farm footprint in Tamil Nadu.

Shares of Orient Green Power Company Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 11.03 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 10.91. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1066696 in over 1626 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 11.23 and intraday low of 10.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 11822364.00.
