Jio Platforms Limited delivered another blockbuster quarter with consolidated revenue surging 12.7% year-on-year to ₹43,683 crore and EBITDA climbing 16.4% to ₹19,303 crore. The digital powerhouse celebrated major milestones with 5G subscribers crossing 250 million, Fixed Broadband base surpassing 25 million, and Jio AirFiber becoming the world's first FWA service to exceed 10 million subscribers.
India's largest telecom operator now boasts a massive 515.3 million customer base, up nearly 7% from last year, fueled by relentless 5G adoption and broadband expansion.
Financial Powerhouse Performance
Jio's operating revenue reached ₹37,262 crore (up 12.7% YoY) with EBITDA margins expanding 170 basis points to 51.8%, reflecting superior operating leverage and ARPU growth. Profit After Tax rose 11.2% to ₹7,629 crore, underscoring the company's ability to convert top-line growth into bottom-line profitability.
The robust performance was driven by higher subscriber additions, ARPU expansion to ₹213.7 (up 5.1% YoY), and digital services scale-up. Total data traffic exploded 34% YoY to 62.3 Exabytes, while per capita consumption hit 40.7 GB/month.
5G Revolution Accelerates
Jio's 5G subscriber base reached 253 million by December 2025, now accounting for ~53% of total wireless traffic. The company launched the game-changing Jio-Gemini offer, providing free 18-month Gemini Pro subscriptions (worth ₹35,100) to all unlimited 5G users. This premium access includes Gemini 3.0 Pro, Nano Banana & Veo 3.1 image/video generation, NotebookLM, and 2TB cloud storage.
Jio AirFiber achieved a global first, crossing 11.5 million subscribers while total fixed broadband connected premises reached 25.3 million, cementing Jio's broadband leadership.
AI & Digital Ecosystem Expansion
JioAICloud scaled to ~50 million registered users with enhanced features including Gujarati & Marathi voice search and AI-driven file organization. Jio also introduced YouTube Premium monthly plans offering ad-free, offline viewing on large screens alongside YouTube Music Premium.
In a major safety initiative, NHAI signed an MoU with Jio to deploy a telecom-based safety alert system on National Highways, delivering real-time warnings for accident-prone zones, cattle crossings, fog areas, and emergency diversions directly to mobile phones.
Unmatched Network Scale
Jio maintained monthly churn at stable 1.8% while adding 8.9 million net subscribers during the quarter. Voice traffic grew 4.8% YoY to 1.53 trillion minutes, reflecting sustained customer engagement across services.
ARPU growth to ₹213.7 was achieved through higher customer engagement, partially offset by promotional unlimited 5G and Fixed Broadband offers, demonstrating Jio's customer-first pricing strategy.
Strategic Vision for AI-Powered India
Leadership emphasized Jio's 500+ million subscriber base, deep customer insights, and pan-India distribution as the foundation for Reliance Intelligence. "This ecosystem will make India not just AI-enabled but AI-empowered—where every citizen and enterprise can harness AI tools to create, innovate, and grow," stated company leadership.
9M FY26 Trajectory Strong
Cumulative 9M performance shows revenue up 15.4% to ₹127,389 crore and EBITDA up 19.1% to ₹56,195 crore, positioning Jio for another record-breaking full year.
