Bajaj Auto Ltd reports 14% sales growth in December 2025, strong Exports offset Domestic Softness

Bajaj Auto reported a solid December 2025, with total sales of 3,69,809 units across two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, up 14% year-over-year from 3,23,125 units in December 2024. Exports led the charge with a 25% surge, while domestic sales grew modestly by 4%.
December 2025 Breakdown
Two-Wheelers:
Domestic: 1,32,228 units, up 3% from 1,28,335 units.
Exports: 1,78,125 units, up 24% from 1,43,838 units.
Subtotal: 3,10,353 units, up 14% from 2,72,173 units.
Commercial Vehicles:
Domestic: 37,145 units, up 9% from 34,085 units.
Exports: 22,311 units, up 32% from 16,867 units.
Subtotal: 59,456 units, up 17% from 50,952 units.
Totals:
Domestic (2WH + CV): 1,69,373 units, up 4% from 1,62,420 units.
Exports (2WH + CV): 2,00,436 units, up 25% from 1,60,705 units.
April-December FY25-26 Performance
For the nine months ended December 2025, total sales reached 37,46,609 units, up 6% from 35,48,032 units in the prior year. Exports continued to shine with 19% growth, while domestic sales dipped slightly by 3%.
Year-to-Date Highlights:
Two-Wheelers: 31,50,161 units total, up 4%. Domestic down 4% to 17,27,128 units; exports up 16% to 14,23,033 units.
Commercial Vehicles: 5,96,448 units total, up 17%. Domestic up 3% to 3,79,510 units; exports surged 53% to 2,16,938 units.
Domestic (2WH + CV): 21,06,638 units, down 3% from 21,74,437 units.
Exports (2WH + CV): 16,39,971 units, up 19% from 13,73,595 units.
Bajaj Auto's export momentum, particularly in commercial vehicles, underscores its global expansion strategy, with key markets driving premium product demand. Domestic two-wheeler softness reflects seasonal factors and a high base, but steady CV growth signals resilience in the three-wheeler segment. The company remains well-positioned for FY26 with a strong product pipeline, including electric offerings.
