Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels debuts in Kerala with boutique icons - The Malabar House, Purity, and Discovery

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL), one of India's leading hospitality groups, proudly announces the addition of three boutique properties in Kerala - The Malabar House, Purity, and Discovery - to THE Park Collection, the Group's brand of luxury hotels with unique stories and destinations. It launches ASPHL's presence in Kerala, one of India's high-growth and evocative leisure destinations.

A member of Relais & Châteaux, The Malabar House is an iconic heritage boutique hotel located in the historic harbour town of Fort Kochi. With origins dating back to 1755, the hotel has passed through centuries of layered ownership - from Dutch settlers to spice and tea traders, before emerging in 1997 as Fort Kochi's first boutique heritage hotel. Today, its 17 rooms and suites weave together history, contemporary design and luxury, attracting a discerning mix of domestic and international travellers.

Complementing this is Purity, a luxury lakefront retreat set along the backwaters of Alappuzha. Celebrated for its minimalist luxury, sustainability-led operations and curated wellness and culinary experiences, Purity's offering is further elevated by the inclusion of the premium houseboat Discovery - for slower, more immersive stay experiences.

Commenting on the development, Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited, said, "These additions represent a significant milestone in our strategy to deepen our presence in the luxury and heritage hospitality segment through highly differentiated, globally admired assets. We view these as high-yielding properties within the Kerala leisure market, supported by strong year-round demand and robust domestic and international footfalls.

THE Park Collection offers a curation of design-led properties with heritage value and experience-rich destinations. The three Kerala properties join our award-winning hotels at Ran Baas, The Palace in Patiala and THE Lotus Palace Chettinad, and follow the acquisition of Zillion hotels in Mumbai. As we continue to scale, we remain disciplined in capital deployment and focus on value-accretive opportunities that meet our strict investment criteria on returns, scalability, and strategic fit."

Shares of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 136.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 139.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 8161 in over 265 trades.
