Organic Recycling Systems Ltd in collaboration with University of Southern Denmark and IIT Mumbai receives International Research Grant from Danish Agency

Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL), is proud to announce that its ORSRIC (Research Innovation centre) receives award grant in the prestigious international project titled "Danish-Thai-Indian Circular Bioeconomy Network for Mango Waste Valorisation." The initiative is coordinated by the University of Southern Denmark, with key research partners including leading institutions from Thailand, IIT Mumbai and ORSL, India. ORSL's inclusion as a core industrial partner reinforces the company's position as a frontrunner in biowaste valorisation, bioenergy generation, and circular economy technologies.

The project has been officially awarded a framework grant of DKK 1,028,800 by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science (DAHES) under the Global Innovation Network Programme (GINP). It will run from January 2026 to March 2027.

A Major Step Towards Global Circular Bioeconomy Collaboration

The project focuses on developing advanced technologies and business models for waste valorisations, converting agricultural residues into high-value bioproducts, bioenergy, and sustainable materials. As a partner, ORSL will contribute its proven expertise in anaerobic digestion, biogas/CBG production, organic waste processing, and commercialization pathways for scalable waste-tovalue solutions.

Speaking on the announcement, Dr. Manju Tanwar, Head ORS-RIC from ORSL said: "We are honoured to be part of this prestigious international network. Our collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark, IIT Mumbai, and our Thai partners strengthens ORSL's commitment to global circular bioeconomy innovation. This project opens doors for technology exchange, joint research, and scalable industrial applications that will benefit farmers, industry sectors, and the environment."

Shares of Organic Recycling Systems Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 271.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 270.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23400 in over 34 trades.
