Universal Autofoundry Ltd inks MoU with Kranti Industries Ltd

Universal Autofoundry Limited ("the Company" / "UFL") has executed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") with Kranti Industries Limited ("Kranti"), a company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 542459), on Saturday, October'18, 2025.
The said MoU outlines a strategic collaboration between UFL and Kranti for leasing and operation of the Company's complete machine shop facilities, along with associated plant and machinery. Currently UFL has machine shops at two locations, under this arrangement, UFL will bring both machine shops at one location i.e. at their Unit 3 plant located at Sargoth, Sikar District, Rajasthan. Kranti will operate and manage this consolidated machine shop, focusing exclusively on machining cast components of UFL.
By bringing both its machine shops under one roof, UFL will improve workflow, enhancing production capacity and quality consistency, and Accelerating delivery timelines to meet growing customer demand.
Partnering with Kranti Industries, which has strong expertise in precision machining, will allow UFL to focus more on its core foundry operations, while ensuring its machined products meet global quality standards.
This partnership combines UFL's foundry strength with Kranti's machining capabilities, helping both companies deliver more value to their customers and stakeholders.
The MoU will be effective from 1st January 2026 for a period of seven (7) years, including a lock-in period of three (3) years, and is subject to execution of definitive agreements between the parties. This arrangement is expected to strengthen UFL's integrated manufacturing capabilities and optimize utilization of its machining assets in alignment with its growth strategy.
Shares of Kranti Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 85.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 84.16. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2845 in over 35 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 86.86 and intraday low of 84.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 241552.00.
