Nibe Limited - Vayu Astra-1 Loitering Munition successfully completes technical trial against RFP of Indian Army

Nibe Limited's Vayu Astra-1 Loitering Munition successfully completed its first technical trial at the Pokhran Range, Rajasthan with a 10 kg warhead. It struck a target 100 km away in a single attempt with a CEP under 1 meter, demonstrating abort, attack, and re-attack capabilities.

The team successfully conducted an Anti-Armor night strike using - IR camera. It successfully hit target within a 2-meter CEP in a single attempt. The capability of handing over control from GCS to Forward Control Station located at 70 km away was successfully demonstrated.

At Joshimath (Malari), Uttarakhand, Vayu Astra-1 Loitering Munition has successfully achieved endurance flying time exceeding 90 minutes. High - altitude loitering operations were carried out at an altitude of over 14000 Feet. Additionally, the loitering munition was safely recovered after mission completion for subsequent flights.
