Cosmo Films Ltd posts net profit of 6.13 Crores on Net sales of Rs.125.28 Crores

Cosmo Films Ltd, India´s leading BOPP manufacturer and supplier today announced its audited first quarter results for the year 2006-2007.

The company has registered an impressive growth in profits with net profit after tax of Rs.613 Lakhs as compared to Rs.41 Lakhs for the same period last year.

Speaking on the occasion Mr.Sushil K.Mittal, Executive Director & CEO, Cosmo Films Ltd said, "We are very pleased with our 36.57% growth in Net Sales.""Our focus on Thermal lamination film exports has paid rich dividends with the company registering spectacular growth", he added.

F.O.B. value of exports has increased from Rs.3351 Lakhs in the previous year to Rs.6061 Lakhs in the corresponding quarter which shows an increase of more than 80%.

The annualized EPS stands at Rs.12.60 compared to Rs.0.96 for the corresponding quarter last year.
