NTPC Green Energy Ltd inks MoU with Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for development of Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Project for decarbonization and energy transition in the state of Bihar.

The MoU was signed on 26th July'2025 between Sh. Sarit Maheswari, CEO (NGEL & NREL) and Sh. Abdesh Kumar Singh, Director Technical (BSPGCL), shared in the presence of the Hon'ble Minister of Energy, Planning & Development of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Hon'ble Minister of Industries of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Nitish Mishra, ACS, Department of Industries, Secretary Department of Energy and other senior officials from Government of Bihar.

Shares of NTPC Green Energy Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 105.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 106.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 223782 in over 2700 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 106.75 and intraday low of 105.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 23728113.00.
