Himalaya Food International Ltd - Insurance Claim - Fire Incident Update

Himalaya Food International Limited has filed a complaint before the Consumer Court, Mehsana, Gujarat, seeking recovery of Rs. 14.40 Crores under the pending fire insurance claim.

The claim pertains to the fire incident dated 22nd May 2022, which led to the complete destruction of the frozen food processing facilities. Insurance Company had earlier approved Rs. 18 Crores only against the claim amount of Rs. 67 Crores.

The legal action is being pursued through the Consumer Court route to enable expedited adjudication and recovery, aligning with the Company's broader strategy to:

- Strengthen financial resources, and
- Ensure a timely, efficient, and comprehensive revival of operations.

The Company remains committed to maximizing recovery under all legitimate avenues and will continue to keep stakeholders updated on material developments in this matter.
