As earlier approved by Board of Directors, Ami Organics outlined an ambitious target to establish a total solar power plant capacity of 15.80 MW. With the 10.8 MW plant now fully operational, Ami Organics' has made substantial progress toward this goal, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy practices.
The newly commissioned solar plant is projected to deliver substantial annual cost savings by meeting majority of the electricity requirements for the Company's Ankleshwar and Jhagadia units in Gujarat. In addition to the 10.8 MW plant, Ami Organics' is actively developing another 5 MW solar power plant. This project, expected to be completed in the near term, will fulfill the electricity needs of the Sachin unit of Surat, Gujarat. Once operational, these combined efforts will ensure that most of the company's present electricity requirements across its key facilities are met through renewable energy sources.
