MRPL income at Rs.5613.87 Crores, net profit at Rs.215.91 Crores

Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2159.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 2157.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 56138.70 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 64780.80 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
