Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) Agri Machinery Business Division in November 2024 sold 8,974 tractors as against 9,906 tractors sold in November 2023.
Domestic tractor sales in November 2024 were at 8,730 tractors as compared to 9,503 tractors in November 2023, down due to the shift of major festive days to October this year. However, during the festive months from September to November, EKL domestic tractor sales were up by 9% to 38,554 tractors as compared to 35,387 tractors in the same period last year. Going forward we expect growth momentum to continue in the remaining fiscal year, driven by favorable macroeconomic conditions, higher Minimum Support Price (MSP), improved terms of trade, and higher water reservoir levels.
Export tractor sales in November 2024 were at 244 tractors as against 403 tractors sold in November 2023.
