ONGC commences production CBM block in Bokaro

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd has commenced its production from Coal Bed Methane (CBM) block in Bokaro, Jharkhand.

CBM is an unconventional source of natural gas and an alternative source for augmenting India's energy resource.

It's a humble beginning and initial production of 1,70,000 SCMD and expected to ramp upto 3,00,000 SCMD by end of the current Financial Year.

Shares of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 322.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 322.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2281197 in over 35530 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 327.50 and intraday low of 319.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 739713332.00.
