NLC India Ltd bags its Second Commercial Coal Mine Block at Machhakata, Odisha

NLC India Limited, has emerged as successful bidder for Machhakata (Revised) Coal Mine in Angul District of Odisha subsequent to the commercial coal block E-auction held on 02.02.2024 by Ministry of Coal.

The Coal Mine Block is having a total coal reserve of 1377 Million Tonnes (Aproximately) with a peak rated capacity of 30 Million Tonnes Per Annum.

This is the second commercial coal mine block for NLCIL and the Company is committed towards its capacity addition in line with the Corporate Plan.

Shares of NLC India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 262.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 258.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 767455 in over 12409 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 264.90 and intraday low of 254.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 199865108.00.
