Eicher Motors Limited reports 8% YoY drop in May 2024 motorcycles sales volume

Eicher Motors Limited has announced with respect to sales volume of motorcycles for the month of May 2024.

The total sales for May 2024 decreased 8% YoY to 71,010 units against 77,461 units in May 2023. The sales of Models with engine capacity upto 350cc dropped 13% YoY during May 2024 at 59852 units, compared to 69038 units in May 2023. The sales of Models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc increased 32% YoY to 11,158 units in May 2024, as against 8,423 units in May 2023. The International Business increased 12% YoY during May 2024 at 7,479 units, compared to 6,666 units in May 2023.

The total sales stood at 1,52,880 units during the period April 2024 to May 2024, an increase of 2% against 1,50,597 units during the period April 2023 to May 2023. Models with engine capacity upto 350cc reported 1% YoY drop in sales at 1,32,718 units during the period April 2024 to May 2024, as against 1,33,766 units during the period April 2023 to May 2023. The sales of Models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc increased 20% YoY during the period April 2024 to May 2024 at 20,162 units, compared to 16,831 units during the period April 2023 to May 2023.

Shares of Eicher Motors Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 4727.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 4744.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13098 in over 4825 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 4775.50 and intraday low of 4667.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 61652273.00.
