Reliance Capital announces Q1 profit after tax of Rs.94.53 Crores

Reliance Capital Ltd has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 945.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 296.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 655.90 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 1324.20 million for Q1 FY 06-07.

The Consolidated Results are as follows:

The Group has posted a Net Profit after Minority Interest and Share of Profit of Associates of Rs 1130.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 373.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Income from Operations has increased from Rs 1371.70 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 3561.90 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
