UltraTech Cement Limited commissions 1 MTPA brownfield cement capacity at Roorkee

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of 1 mtpa brownfield cement capacity at Roorkee, Uttarakhand taking the Unit's capacity to 2.1 mtpa.

This forms part of the 22.6 mtpa capacity expansion announced by the company earlier.

With this commissioning, the Company's total grey cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands augmented to 138.39 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 9686.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 9607.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5895 in over 2457 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 9749.00 and intraday low of 9578.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 57035797.00.
