HDFC announces Q1 net profit of Rs.296.82 Crores

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 2968.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 2472.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 9347.60 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 12485.30 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
