UltraTech Cement Ltd commissions 2.6 MTPA grinding capacity at Rajpura, Punjab

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of a 2.6 mtpa greenfield grinding capacity at Rajpura, Punjab.

This forms part of the 22.6 mtpa capacity expansion announced in June, 2022.

This additional capacity will help UltraTech to service the markets in Punjab.

With this commissioning, the Company's total grey cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 135.59 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 9958.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 10275.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7766 in over 2023 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 10321.35 and intraday low of 9947.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 78433950.00.
