SBEC Sugar Ltd acquires shares of SBEC Bioenergy Ltd

SBEC Sugar Ltd has announced the acquisition/purchase of 1,03,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each of SBEC Bioenergy Limited from the Moderate Leasing & Capital Services Limited at a total consideration of Rs. 40,17,87,000/- (Rupees Forty Crores Seventeen Lakhs Eighty Seven Thousands) only, we hereby inform you that the above said shares are credited in the Company's demat account and pursuant to the said acquisition, SBEC Bioenergy Limited has become a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company.

Shares of SBEC SUGAR LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 37.11 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 37.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2812 in over 51 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 38.00 and intraday low of 37.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 104886.00.
