Bandhan Bank Ltd transfers Housing Finance NPA portfolio to ARC

Upon conclusion of Swiss Challenge Method, Bandhan Bank Limited has, on December 29, 2023, transferred Housing Finance NPA portfolio, having DPD of more than 180 days, with an outstanding of Rs. 719.69 Crore (as on December 28, 2023) to an ARC, for a consideration amounting to Rs. 289.60 Crore (40.24% of aforesaid portfolio) on outright cash basis.

The Board of Directors of Bandhan Bank Limited (the 'Bank') had earlier approved proposal to transfer Housing Finance NPA portfolio, having Days Past Due ('DPD') of more than 180 days, to Asset Reconstruction Company ('ARC').

Shares of Bandhan Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 241.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 239.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 236230 in over 2459 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 243.00 and intraday low of 238.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 56872025.00.
