Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 18, 2006, has approved establishment of integrated manufacturing facilities in India to cater to increasing export market share and demand. The said facilities are planned at strategic locations close to ports for manufacturing of wind turbines with aggregate capacity of 1,500 MW and Vertical integration through Foundry, Forging and Machining unit (FFM). The total capital investment for both the projects would be to the tune of Rs 15,000 million.
