Fitch Ratings has published their report on 31.08.2023. They have affirmed State Bank of India's (SBI) Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BBB-'. Fitch has also affirmed the bank's Viability Rating (VR) at 'bb' and its Government Support Rating (GSR) of 'bbb-'. The outlook on SBI remains stable.
However, Fitch has revised the operating environment (OE) score to 'bb+' from 'bb' and asset quality score to 'bb- positive' from 'bb- stable'.
