Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated 10 new branches today

Karur Vysya Bank today inaugurated ten new branches - six in Tamil Nadu, two in Andhra Pradesh, one in Telangana and one in Karnataka. With this the total branch network of the Bank increased to 822.

The new branches that were opened today are

i. 813th Branch at Khammam - Kaviraj Nagar (Telangana) by Shri P.V. Ganesh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Khammam

ii. 814th Branch at Coimbatore - Selvapuram (Tamilnadu) by Dr. M. Saravanakumar, Ph.D., Dean, Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore

iii. 815th Branch at Uthukuli (Tamilnadu) by Smt. S. Indhumathi, Executive Officer, Uthukuli Town Panchayat

iv. 816th Branch at Chennai Ayapakkam (Tamilnadu) by Shri G. Aravind, President, Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association, Chennai

v. 817th Branch at Mummidivaram (Andhra Pradesh) by Shri Himanshu Shukla, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema District, Amalapuram

vi. 818th Branch at Trichy Bhima Nagar (Tamilnadu)by Shri M. Pradeep Kumar, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate, Tiruchirapalli

vii. 819th Branch at Alangudi (Tamilnadu) by Dr. M. Periyasamy, M.B.B.S., DA, FICP, Chief Medical Officer, Government Hospital, Alangudi

viii. 820th Branch at Palamaneru (Andhra Pradesh) by Shri K. Kiran Kumar, Municipal Commissioner, Palamaneru

ix. 821st Branch Bengaluru - Sarjapura Road (Karnataka) by Shri H. Basavarajendra, I.A.S., Commissioner, Hindu Religious Institutions & Charitable Endowments.

x. 822nd Branch at Hosur - Bagalur Road (Tamilnadu) by Smt. R. Saranya, I.A.S., Sub-Collector, Hosur

With the inauguration of these branches, the ATM network of the bank will increase to 1640 and that of Cash Recyclers to 611.

Speaking on the inauguration of the Branches, Shri B. Ramesh Babu, MD & CEO said that "the Bank has been opening new branches in order to expand its touch points. During the current financial year we have inaugurated 23 branches (including the ones opened today)."

Shares of Karur Vysya Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 120.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 122.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 55941 in over 1571 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 124.05 and intraday low of 119.70. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6814068.00.
