Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector Sells 33,113 Units in India during May 2023

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), part of the Mahindra Group, today announced its tractor sales numbers for May 2023. Domestic sales in May 2023 were at 33,113 units, as against 34,153 units during May 2022.

Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during May 2023 were at 34,126 units, as against 35,722 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,013 units.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President - Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, "We have sold 33,113 tractors in the domestic market during May '23. Record high Rabi crop output, good reservoir levels, improved terms of trade for farmers and IMD's prediction of a normal southwest monsoon, augurs well for the upcoming Kharif season. In the exports market, we have sold 1,013 tractors."

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1328.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1329.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 38543 in over 2717 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1338.95 and intraday low of 1319.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 51257073.00.
