Punjab National Bank invests Rs. 498.75 crores in rights issue of PNB Housing Finance Ltd

Punjab National Bank has infused capital amounting to Rs.498.75 crore in the Rights Issue of PNB Housing Finance Limited (PNBHFL). The company has subscribed to 1,81,36,365 shares @ Rs.275 per share aggregating to Rs.498.75 Crore.

Post allotment in the Rights Issue, the Bank's shareholding in PNBHFL has reduced from 32.52% to 28.15%.

Shares of PNB Housing Finance Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 486.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 475.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14699 in over 543 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 488.50 and intraday low of 475.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7071207.00.
