KDDL Ltd receives Bronze Medal from EcoVadis

KDDL Ltd, one of the leading companies of India engaged in the manufacture of watch components and high-quality precision stamped components, announces that it one of the Watch Hands factory Unit 1, located at Bangalore, has been awarded with a Bronze medal by EcoVadis.

The Bronze medal puts KDDL factory in the top 50% of the few thousands of the companies assessed by EcoVadis globally. KDDL Watch Hands Factory, received a score of 56 on EcoVadis' 2023 scorecard, putting it in 67th percentile. The factory was rated "Good" across all these four EcoVadis themes - Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

KDDL Ltd. sustainability journey:

In 2022 KDDL Ltd. secured ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certification for three watch components manufacturing factories. ISO 14001 is an environmental management system & ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management.

In the area of Social Accountability two of the KDDL factories are already a SEDEX member & membership of the third factory is expected soon. SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used format for social audits in the world, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1100.20 and intraday low of 1077.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1300825.00.
