Himalaya Food International Ltd gets further amount from insurance company

The Insurance Company had released Rs. 10 Crores (Rupees Ten Crores only) as interim relief against the Fire caught in the Gujarat Plant in May 2022. The said amount has been deposited towards the One Time Settlement ("OTS") to the consortium of banks led by SBI.

Further, Himalaya Food International Limited (the "Company") has paid approx. Rs. 47 crores out of Rs. 82.80 crores settled as OTS with the consortium of banks. The balance amount of Rs. 35.80 crores with interest is proposed to be paid from the final Insurance claim and the sale proceeds of agricultural land situated in Rajasthan.

Shares of Himalaya Food International Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 21.94 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 22.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 37534 in over 180 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 22.44 and intraday low of 21.51. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 823874.00.
