UPL Ltd announces completion of investment of INR 1,580 Crore by ADIA,TPG and Brookfield in UPL SAS, India Agtech Platform

UPL Ltd. (NSE: UPL, BSE: 512070, LSE: UPLL), announces the completion of investment of INR 1,580 Crore ($200 Mn) by ADIA,TPG and Brookfield for 9.09% stake in UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions Limited (UPL SAS).

The fund inflow will be utilised towards committed debt reduction target of $500 Mn by the end of March’23.

Shares of UPL Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 769.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 769.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 24151 in over 1146 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 773.65 and intraday low of 767.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 18604766.00.
