UPL Ltd announces completion of investment of INR 2,474 Crore by KKR in Advanta Enterprises, Global Pure Play Seeds Platform

UPL Ltd. (NSE: UPL, BSE: 512070, LSE: UPLL), announces the completion of investment of INR 2,474 Crore ($300 Mn) by KKR for 13.33% stake in Advanta Enterprises. This is a part of the larger corporate realignment exercise announced in October 2022 to create four distinct business platforms - Global Crop Protection (ex-India), India Agtech, Global Seeds and Manufacturing & Specialty Chemicals to unleash growth potential of each of these platforms and unlock value for UPL shareholders by facilitating 'fair value recognition' of each platform.

Shares of UPL Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 770.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 770.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 43920 in over 2074 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 773.80 and intraday low of 759.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 33779970.00.
