GPCB revokes directions given to Bayer CropScience Ltd's Himatnagar Plant

Bayer CropScience Limited had earlier announced regarding directions from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board ("GPCB"), which resulted in temporary discontinuation of the operations at the Company's crop protection formulations plant located at Plot Nos. 66/1 to 75/2, G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate, Himatnagar - 383 001, Gujarat ("Himatnagar Plant").

Pursuant to the Company complying with the observations to the satisfaction of GPCB which inspected the Himatnagar Plant on December 09, 2022, and December 12, 2022, and fulfillment of other conditions, GPCB has revoked the above-mentioned Directions. The Himatnagar Plant is now operational effective December 15, 2022.

Shares of Bayer Cropscience Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 4822.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 4653.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2249 in over 1070 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 4877.95 and intraday low of 4601.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 10749910.00.
