UltraTech Cement Limited commissions new capacities

UltraTech Cement Limited has announced the commissioning of:

- 1.8 mtpa greenfield grinding capacity at Dhule Grinding Unit, Maharashtra.

- 1.8 mpta brownfield clinker backed 2nd grinding capacity at Dhar Cement Works, Madhya Pradesh

This forms part of the first phase of capacity expansion announced in December 2020.

The Company's total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 119.45 mtpa.

Shares of UltraTech Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 7237.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 7279.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 12440 in over 3296 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 7298.10 and intraday low of 7159.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 90018031.00.
