AdvantageGo, a leading commercial insurance and reinsurance software provider and part of Coforge, announced today the appointment of Ian Summers as Global Business
Leader. In this role, effective immediately, Ian is responsible for the strategic direction and the operations of the company and leading AdvantageGo´s dedicated team of specialists in delivering best-in-class commercial (re) insurance software that transforms risk administration. He has a goal to build the next generation ecosystem to digitise the Specialty insurance market.
Ian brings over 30 years of experience across the insurance, reinsurance and technology sectors. Prior to joining AdvantageGo, Ian was Chief Executive Officer of Verisk Specialty Business Solutions, having previously held the role of Chief Information Officer and Director of change strategy at AON.
Throughout his career, Ian has been an advocate of digitisation of the Insurance ecosystem and has sat on and chaired a number of cross-industry groups, including LIBBA's market reform and strategy committee and ACORD's Global Reinsurance and Large Commercial standards board. Ian has also served as director for a number of companies, including Whitespace, PPL, and Polaris.
Based in London, Ian reports to Sudhir Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Coforge.
