Torrent Power Ltd acquires shares of Wind Two Renergy Pvt Ltd

Torrent Power Ltd has acquired 3,25,10,000 equity shares of Wind Two Renergy Private Limited ("WTRPL") at a face value of Rs. 10 each aggregating to Rs. 32.51 Crore representing 100% of paid-up capital of WTRPL from Inox Green Energy Services Limited (formerly known as lnox Wind Infrastructure Services Limited) ("the Seller").

WTRPL has implemented 50MW Wind Power Project at Dayapar Village, Lakhpat Taluka, Kutch District of Gujarat ("the Project"). The Project comprises of 25 Wind Turbine Generators of Inox DF/2000/113 with an individual capacity of 2MW each. The electricity generated from the Project is supplied under a 25 years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited.

Shares of Torrent Power Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 524.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 502.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18688 in over 1181 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 526.00 and intraday low of 506.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9714314.00.
