Fire at Deepak Nitrite's warehouse section at Nandesari plant

Deepak Nitrite Ltd has announced about an incidence of fire around warehouse section of the Company's manufacturing site located at Nandesari, District Vadodara, in the State of Gujarat. The incidence occurred today i.e. on 2nd June, 2072 at around 6:00 P.M.

The emergency response team, with the support of local authorities and companies around Deepak Nitrite Limited brought the fire under control within couple of hours. There has been no casualty and few people are being given first aid treatment. The Company has kept all concerned authorities informed and the Plant operations are expected to resume in a day or two upon clearance of damaged warehouse. The cause of fire is being investigated and the Company is committed to extend all assistance to the relevant authorities investigating into this matter.

The company also thanked the local administration, neighboring industries and fire brigade for their timely support.

Shares of Deepak Nitrite Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2010.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1996.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 26787 in over 1907 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2031.00 and intraday low of 1987.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 53981807.00.
