NDTV to launch new entertainment and Lifestyle channel

New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 17, 2006, inter alia, has approved the following:

1. A new model to expand further in News and expand beyond news to develop NDTV into a Bouquet of channels with entertainment and Lifestyle and initiate a major thrust in New Media including the internet.

2. Reconstitution of Committees of the Board.
