Fire incident at Sequent Scientific Ltd subsidiary's Unit at Ramky Pharma City SEZ JNPC, Visakhapatnam

There was an incident of fire at Sequent Scientific Limited's wholly owned subsidiary Alivira Animal Health Limited's (Alivira) API facility in Visakhapatnam at around 7:30 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The fire was brought under control soon. There were no casualties or injuries to anyone on site. While manufacturing activities have been affected temporarily, the initial assessment indicates that there might not be any material financial impact on account of this incident.

The Company has appropriate insurance in place for the unit. The Company has also informed all concerned statutory authorities about the fire incident.

Shares of Sequent Scientific Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 127.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 132.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 74141 in over 2112 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 132.90 and intraday low of 126.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9618643.00.
